Knauf Insulation, Inc. is seeking a Process Development Engineer to oversee design and development of cold-end equipment, packaging materials, and related processes. You will analyze drawings and specs to determine characteristics, safety needs, and suitable packaging materials.

You will support projects including equipment installations, trials, startups, automation upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates must reside within travel distance of our plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with packaging equipment design and automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Put safety at the heart of your work and follow established rules and procedures.
• Shape a packaging strategy that meets Operations, Shipping, Warehousing, and Customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Purchasing, Product Development, and Operations on costs and feasibility of packaging solutions.
• Create efficient cold-end procedures and clear work instructions.
• Lead packaging equipment improvements to improve safety, quality, and cost.
