Sharp Packaging Solutions is seeking a mechanical technician to support the setup, maintenance, and operation of high-speed packaging lines in a cGMP environment. Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 4 years of industrial automation/packaging experience.
• Hands-on skills in mechanical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Experience with calibration and preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair machine breakdowns with maintenance and engineering.
• Operate packaging equipment in daily production activities.
• Help train and develop Machine Operators and new mechanics.
• Log data into process check sheets and maintenance logs.
• Perform sensor setups and adjustments for online printing, barcode scanning, OCR/OCV vision equipment.
• Verify calibration status of measuring gauges and related sensors.
• Conduct preventative and on-demand maintenance and document activities in procedures.
• Communicate with team members and attend required meetings.
• Perform maintenance work orders and log completion into Blue Mountain.
• Hours will vary based on business needs.
• Set up automated packaging equipment and replace tooling as needed.
