Pattyn North America, headquartered in Sussex, WI, seeks an experienced Technical Support Specialist to assist customers across North America. The role supports field technicians, interprets electrical schematics and PLC code, and collaborates with PMs and R&D to resolve complex issues.

The position involves 10–20% travel, a daytime schedule, and an hourly wage with overtime eligibility. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or service engineering in packaging/automation preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or administrative training preferred.
• Basic understanding of PLC code (structure text) and automation components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone, text, email, or video calls.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics to assist troubleshooting.
• Read and troubleshoot PLC code to support field technicians.
• Log, categorize, and prioritize service requests in the CRM system.
• Serve as a bridge between departments (PM, planning, spare parts, engineering, R&D).
• Escalate problems to managers or factories as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues.
