Job summary

Comar in West Bend, WI is seeking a Production Operator to operate and tend packaging machines, stage materials, and inspect product quality. You will start equipment, monitor for malfunctions, and report issues to the supervisor while maintaining a clean, safe work area in accordance with GMP guidelines.

Required: High School or Vo-Tech graduation; preferred 1–3 years of packaging experience and familiarity with ISO 9001 / ISO13485 environments.

Qualifications

• High School or Vo-Tech School graduate.
• 1–3 years prior experience as a production operator preferred.
• Prior ISO 9001 and/or ISO13485 manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend machines that perform one or more packaging functions, including assembly and downstream packaging automation equipment.
• Start machines and observe operation to detect malfunctions; stop machines and report issues to supervisor.
• Clear alarms, jams, sensors, and leak detectors.
• Stage packaging material or WIP components; ensure quality of finished product; stamp and pack on equipment.
• Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections to determine product acceptability and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with GMP and Health & Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
