Job summary

Balchem Corporation seeks a packaging operator to tend machines handling filling, labeling, banding, weighing and packing containers in a fast-paced production environment. You will verify weights meet specifications, seal products properly, label accurately, and stack finished goods for transport.

This role requires adherence to GMPs, SOPs and quality protocols, maintaining clean work areas, recording production data, and collaborating with teammates to keep lines running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill bags or totes to proper weight according to plant specifications.
• Ensure bags are sealed to prevent leakage.
• Stack finished product on pallets neatly for handling and transport.
• Label product with product code, lot number and markings.
• Sample product for lab and customer; inspect for contaminants.
