Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a Technical Engineer - Packaging to design, develop, and optimize packaging and packaging automation solutions across GTI production facilities. You will balance product protection, cost, regulatory requirements, and brand standards while partnering with Brand and Product Development to scale packaging from concept to production.

The role requires expertise in packaging equipment selection, troubleshooting, and implementing automated packaging processes in

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Packaging Engineering or Technical Engineering.
Experience designing packaging solutions for regulated environments.
Proven ability to drive packaging automation projects from concept to implementation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and validate packaging solutions for multiple facilities.
Lead the integration of packaging automation into existing production processes.
Collaborate with Brand, Product Development, Operations, and Quality to ensure compliant solutions.
Lead IQ, OQ, and PQ validations for new equipment and processes.
Provide technical transfer and maintenance training for site teams.
Travel up to 50% to GTI manufacturing sites as required.
