Job summary

Novolex is hiring Packers for our Kalamazoo plant to inspect and package products on rotating lines. The role requires attention to quality, safety and accuracy as you move between processes under supervision and with team support.

Shifts include days or nights with breaks; starting pay is $19.32 per hour. The position emphasizes reliability, ability to follow procedures, and commitment to a clean, safe work environment across production teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• Ability to read and understand written specifications, safety issues and interpretation of diagrams for proper packaging.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations and without posing a threat to the health and safety of fellow employees

Responsibilities

• Inspects and packages product, rotates throughout production lines as directed by the Team Leader.
• Works independently and ensures packed product is defect-free and meets standards established by Quality.
• Maintain safe, clean and friendly work environment.
• Meet daily production requirements.
• Properly identify each case that is packed.
• Assist with grinding of scrap materials as required.
• Assist with training responsibilities as required.
• Other duties as necessary
