AMSOIL INC. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Packaging Associate responsible for accurately completing and preparing customer orders for shipment, labeling correctly, and meeting quality standards.

You will operate packaging equipment, maintain inventory, print labels, and prepare shipments for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and trucking, while keeping a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience operating packaging equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of finished goods and report low stock.
• Fill work orders from bulk storage to packaged goods.
• Fill pick tickets from stock and print labels with part number, size and batch.
• Prepare materials for shipment and package in appropriate boxes/containers.
• Operate forklift and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper labeling and sign-off on all Work Orders and Pick tickets.

AMSOIL INC. Is hiring a Packaging Associate. The Packaging Associate is responsible for accurately completing and preparing all customer orders for shipment, ensuring they meet company standards.

What you will own:

• Maintain inventory of finished goods. Report to customer service manager or production supervisor when quantities are low on finished goods and stock.
• Fill Work orders from bulk storage to packaged goods in appropriate packaging
• Fill Pick Tickets from stock
• Print appropriate labels with correct part number, size and batch.
• Prepare materials for shipment in appropriate boxes/containers.
• Operate tube sealer, 3 roll mill, tube fillers, cartridge filler, drum pumps and forklift.
• Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled with appropriate label for package and that all numbers are maintained through process. Ensure that all Work Orders and Pick tickets are filled out properly and signed.
• Organize and monitor all packaging materials. Report to customer service manager or Production manager when quantities are low on packaging supplies.
• Check all Shipments against Purchase Orders, package box and place shipping label/documents on box/skid Prepare for Fedex, UPS, DHL, and trucking
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Operate a forklift in a safe manner complying with all safety standards, including lock out/tag out.

What you bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working a warehouse/distribution center.
• Prior experience operating packaging equipment a plus, but not required.

Certificates/Licenses Required:

• Forklift Certification.

Knowledge, skills and Abilities Required:

• Organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivated to obtain information and expand personal knowledge.
• Ability to effectively operate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, demonstrating good communication skills and professional behaviors.
