Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking an entry-level Packaging Technician in Wisconsin. You will manually apply cheese and ingredients to lines, perform packaging tasks, and restock materials while supporting a clean, compliant production environment.

The role emphasizes safety, regular attendance, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Starting wage is published, with opportunities for development within a leading dairy processor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Comply with quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Requires regular attendance.
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment.
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crawl; climb steps and safety ladders; continuous walking and standing.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the production line.
• Perform manual packaging tasks (bagging, wrapping, labeling, boxing, palletizing).
• Restock packaging materials into machines (boxes, tape, glue, film).
• Monitor production flow; remove bad product as needed and reapply if necessary.
• Assist coworkers in tasks and verify production quality.
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsible for general assembly tasks associated with the packaging of quality cheese products.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the appropriate production line
• Perform manual packaging tasks such as bagging/wrapping/labeling/boxing/palletizing
• Restock packaging materials into machines such as boxes/tape/glue/film
• Monitor production flow, remove bad product as needed and potentially reapply it to the line
• Assist coworkers in tasks
• Verify production quality and accuracy
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
• Other duties as assigned

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
