Saputo, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing teammate to perform assembly and packaging tasks for cheese products in a production setting. You will apply cheese, bag, wrap, label, box, and palletize items on the line, restock materials, and monitor quality and flow of production.

The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and teamwork, with regular attendance and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This position offers development opportunities and a stable hourly wage in a dynamic food production

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Comply with quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Regular attendance required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsible for general assembly tasks associated with the packaging of quality cheese products.

What You Will Do

• Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the appropriate production line
• Perform manual packaging tasks such as bagging/wrapping/labeling/boxing/palletizing
• Restock packaging materials into machines such as boxes/tape/glue/film
• Monitor production flow, remove bad product as needed and potentially reapply it to the line
• Assist coworkers in tasks
• Verify production quality and accuracy
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Requires regular attendance.
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Compensation

Starting Wage $26.15 per hour
