We’re seeking a Packager (2nd Shift) who’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.

About the Role

The packager is responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. Starting Wage: $24.50 + $1.00 Shift Differential. Schedule: 2 pm to 12:30 am Monday - Thursday.

What You Will Accomplish

• Pack products in one of three major classifications: Foam, Coatings Mills or Coatings Reactors
• Label products before and after packaging as needed
• Set up packaging area for one of three major classifications
• Fill containers to specified weight and expected quality standards
• Properly label wash, left over bulk or non-conforming material
• Properly prepare material by using nitrogen to flush away contaminants in head space
• Prepare container closures by following proper procedures for crimping lids, torqueing bungs and tote caps, and utilizing seals and zip ties
• Maintain and clean all equipment, pumps, tank scraping as required

What We Are Looking For

• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to pass respirator fit test and medical evaluation
• Must be clean shaven to meet work requirements

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
