Job summary

Holcim Ltd. is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Anoka, Minnesota. Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, maintaining safety standards, and preparing finished goods for transport. The starting hourly wage is $24.41, plus a $1 shift differential.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Material Handler operates and controls packaging equipment, provides forklift support to operations, ensures packaging area is maintained and replenishes raw materials.

Starting Hourly Wage: $24.41 + $1 Shift Differential Schedule: Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies
  • Adhere/Follow all safety rules
  • Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns
  • Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area.
  • Operates forklift in a safe manner. Stages/stocks materials and accessories in established locations.
  • Prepares finished goods for transport. Loads orders for safe and secure shipping.
  • Verifies incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy.
  • Other duties as assigned
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
  • High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Mfg experience preferred (demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with computer controlled equipment)
  • Ability to follow standard work instructions, use measurement tools, blueprints, manuals as needed
