Job summary

Valley Craft Industries in Lake City, MN, is seeking an Entry-Level Packager for 1st shift to support the packaging team. Earn a $1 sign-on bonus with on-the-job training provided and no prior experience required.

The role offers a stable manufacturing environment and opportunities to learn basic packaging and metalworking skills. You'll work Mon-Thu 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime possible and weekends mostly free.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions.
• Willingness to learn packaging and metalworking processes.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Select and wrap products in protective materials.
• Box, crate, palletize, and stretch-wrap products for shipment.
• Operate basic power tools and hand tools.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
• Monitor and maintain product quality.
• Read production paperwork and diagrams.
• Perform testing of parts and mechanisms as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Up to 5:30 PM with overtime)
Fridays as needed

What You’ll Learn & Do

• Select and wrap products in protective materials
