Job summary

Valley Craft Ind. in Minnesota is seeking an Entry-Level Packager for the Lake City, MN facility. This 1st shift role offers on-the-job training and a $1,00 sign-on bonus with no experience required.

You will learn packaging and metalworking, wrap and box products, and help prepare shipments with a friendly, team-oriented group.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow specifications and work instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Willingness to learn packaging and metalworking processes.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Select and wrap products in protective materials.
• Box, crate, palletize, and stretch-wrap products for shipment.
• Operate basic power tools and hand tools.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
• Monitor and maintain product quality.
• Read production paperwork and diagrams.
• Perform testing of parts and mechanisms as required.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Up to 5:30 PM with overtime)
Fridays as needed

What You’ll Learn & Do

• Select and wrap products in protective materials
• Box, crate, palletize, and stretch-wrap products for shipment
• Operate basic power tools and hand tools

• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and sit for extended periods
• Comfortable working in hot and cold manufacturing environments
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
