Valley Craft Industries is hiring a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift in Lake City, MN. You’ll operate manufacturing equipment, inspect parts, monitor and adjust settings, and support multiple shop areas while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment (turret and bending machines).
• Inspect parts using measuring tools and fixtures.
• Monitor production and adjust machine settings to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues.
• Rotate and support different shop areas as needed.
• Follow safety and quality standards; assist with additional tasks as required.

Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

(Flexible start/end times possible; overtime as required)

What You’ll Do

• Operate manufacturing equipment, including turret and bending machines
• Inspect parts using measuring tools and fixtures
• Monitor production and adjust machine settings to maintain quality
• Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues

• Follow safety and quality standards
• Assist with additional production tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred — but entry‑level candidates with no experience are encouraged to apply (training provided!)

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing and movement throughout shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in hot and cold shop conditions
