Aerotek in Kimberly, WI is hiring a Packager to ensure product quality and efficiently package items for labeling and boxing. You will operate packaging and labeling equipment, assist with machine setup, and follow SQF and GMP safety standards in a cheese-manufacturing clean room.

The role requires lifting up to 34 pounds, teamwork, and overtime availability. This is a fully onsite, third-shift position with on-site PPE provided and a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Job Description

As a Packager, you will ensure the quality of products coming down the line, performing essential quality checks. Your role involves packaging products into boxes, moving them through the taping machine, and affixing the correct labels. You will maintain the efficiency of packaging and labeling machines, and may receive training for machine setup and basic maintenance. Major repairs will require assistance from the maintenance department. Adherence to food safety practices, including SQF and GMP standards, is mandatory, along with the use of proper PPE in this food manufacturing facility.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean room dedicated to cheese manufacturing, maintaining a comfortable temperature year-round. Some areas are louder, and there's a faint cheese or sour milk smell that you will acclimate to over time. The facility is highly automated, requiring a uniform, hairnet, safety glasses, and shoes, all of which are provided. The 3rd shift runs from 9:50 PM to 6 AM starting Monday, across a 7-day schedule with 5 working days. Employees can work any day from Monday to Sunday, with additional pay benefits for weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $19.95/hr.
