Job summary

TriHealth is actively recruiting for a Driver to join the PACE of Cincinnati PACE Center located in Norwood Ohio. The Driver is responsible for safely transporting PACE participants, assisting on/off vehicles, and coordinating with staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of experience with mobility needs, a valid driver's license, and a BLS certification. The position works days with occasional on-call for weekend hospital discharges and offers comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
1–2 years of experience transporting individuals with mobility needs.
Driver's license with acceptable driving record; BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Operates PACE vehicles to transport participants to and from homes, the center, and medical appointments.
Assists participants on and off vehicles safely and courteously.
Coordinates care with the IDT and observes changes in participants’ conditions.
Inspects vehicles and reports maintenance or safety issues.
Communicates transportation needs with participants, caregivers, and staff.
Uses transportation software to manage trips and complete documentation.
