Job summary

Central Valley PACE is seeking a PACE Compliance and Safety Specialist to ensure CMS and state regulatory compliance across our Modesto program. The role entails monitoring safety protocols, audits, and coordinating SDAG processes with interdisciplinary teams to protect participants and staff.

The position trains at the Modesto center and supports Merced, Modesto, and Stockton sites, with a focus on continuous improvement of safety, quality assurance, and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required in health, safety, or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in compliance, health, safety, or regulatory roles, preferably healthcare or PACE.
• Certification as CSP or similar is preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CMS/state regulations compliance for the PACE program.
• Conduct audits and inspections of safety and compliance protocols.
• Manage SDAG requests and CMS timelines.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to process SDAGs.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulators.
• Develop and update safety and infection control policies.
• Lead safety meetings and staff training.
• Participate in emergency drills and update response plans.
