Job summary

United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley seeks a Registered Dietitian to screen and assess the nutritional status of PACE members, planning interventions with input from the interdisciplinary team.

You will provide guidance to diet technicians, conduct nutrition education, and support diet-related care across home and residential settings. A California RD license and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college or university; RD credential required.
• Must hold valid California driver’s license and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
• Experience providing care for adults with disabilities and elderly population.
• Knowledge of PACE program and EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess nutritional status of PACE members.
• Plan and implement nutrition interventions; communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide guidance to diet technicians and assist with nutritional care.
• Conduct group nutrition education and in-service trainings.
• Monitor dietary plans, sanitation, and meal quality across sites.
