Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a PACE Care Center Supervisor to support operational areas at the AltaMed PACE site, ensuring efficient delivery of health care and social services.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a health care field, at least 2 years of supervisory experience, collaboration across nursing, social work, psychology and therapy teams, and a preferred bilingual skill set (English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese) depending on location. A valid BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Gerontology, Health Care Administration or other health care discipline preferred. License required if he/she has clinical degree.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supervisor or management position in healthcare or related field required.
• Experience collaborating with nursing, social work, psychology, recreation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, and/or gerontology preferred.
• Experience in process or quality improvement projects or activities preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on site location preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher is required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of selected operational areas at the assigned site (clinical support, participant care, therapies, administrative, transportation, etc.).
• Contribute to staff selection, retention, annual budgets, process improvement, and care coordination with internal/external resources.
• Ensure operations comply with licensing, regulatory standards and company policies.
