Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare PACE is hiring a Bus Driver to provide safe transportation to participants, coordinating with the multidisciplinary care team. Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm.

The role requires a valid CA CDL with passenger endorsement, two years of medical/elderly transport experience, a clean driving record, and current BLS, CPR, and First Aid certifications. You will maintain logs, assist participants, transport medications, and follow safety and HIPAA guidelines while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CA CDL with passenger endorsement required.
• Two years of medical/ADA/elderly transportation experience preferred.
• Clean driving record; no major infractions.
• BLS certification required on hire; CPR/First Aid certification required for all PACE employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 12-passenger bus safely per laws and Neighborhood policies.
• Transport participants to day centers, medical facilities, and outings.
• Assist participants boarding/exiting vehicles, including mobility aids.
• Maintain trip logs, vehicle records, and vehicle cleanliness.
• Deliver medications and supplies; report incidents promptly.
• Communicate effectively with participants, caregivers, and team members.
• Follow infection control procedures and HIPAA guidelines.
