Job summary

Anti-Defamation League seeks a Regional Director based in Seattle to oversee the Pacific Northwest region. You will lead community outreach, public affairs, and government relations while steering programs and fundraising in collaboration with regional staff and volunteers.

The role requires senior leadership experience, strong communications, and the ability to build coalitions among diverse partners. A hybrid work model is in place, with some in-office days and travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus related college courses or professional training, or equivalent experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends; travel within the region; occasional overnight travel.
• ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Community Leadership: Serve as the face and voice of ADL across the region.
• Public Affairs & Media Relations: Represent ADL and deliver speeches in various forums; respond to media and public inquiries.
• Government Affairs: Engage with state/local officials and advocate ADL priorities.
• Volunteer Leadership: Recruit and manage volunteer leaders and committees.
• Vision & Strategic Direction: Coordinate the regional vision and strategic direction for Pacific Northwest.
• Programming: Direct the implementation of ADL programs and policies tailored to local needs.
• Fundraising: Lead regional fundraising efforts and partnerships to meet targets.
• Incident Response: Oversee regional incident management and coordinate with experts.
• Administration: Monitor regional budget and office operations.
