Huntley Community School District 158 is seeking a PAC Assistant Technical Director at Huntley High School. The role focuses on lighting and live sound for district productions, events, and performances, including coordinating wireless frequencies and troubleshooting audio issues.

The successful candidate will operate lighting consoles, maintain fixtures, and supervise student crews, with a flexible schedule for evenings and weekends to support productions and events.

Qualifications

• Requires working knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures of theatre, dance, and music productions and presentations.
• Appropriate safety precautions and procedures; basic CAD/Vector design programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, operate and maintain technical assets for the PAC and Centennial Black Box Theater, focusing on lighting and live sound.
• Program lighting consoles, maintain automated fixtures, run live sound systems.
• Coordinate wireless frequencies and troubleshoot audio issues.
• Supervise student crews, assist with scene shop builds, manage inventory.
• Arrange and execute shows, rehearsals, and events with flexible scheduling for evenings/weekends.
