Job summary

A growing logistics and warehousing group in Paarl, Western Cape, is seeking a diligent Warehouse Receiver and Dispatch Clerk to ensure accurate intake and dispatch of goods. You will verify shipments, record inventory in the WMS, and prepare orders for outbound delivery.

This on-site role requires sharp attention to detail, strong organization, physical stamina for warehouse tasks, and reliable teamwork to maintain smooth operations and contribute to the supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse receiving or dispatch is desirable.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
• On-site work in Paarl, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verify against purchase orders or shipping manifests, and inspect for damage.
• Record all incoming inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Organize and stage received goods for put-away or direct use.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately.
• Verify outgoing shipments against dispatch orders.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving and dispatch area.
• Adhere to all company health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
