Chatham University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies and Clinical Coordinator. The role combines teaching in the MPAS program with coordination of clinical education activities and site management.

The position supports accreditation efforts, site development, and professional service, reporting to the Program Director and Associate Director for Clinical Education.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of clinical experience after graduation.
• Certification in area of expertise (NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants/Associates)

Responsabilités

• Provide classroom instruction and student learning assessment as directed by the Program Director.
• Serve as academic and clinical advisor for MPAS students.
• Develop and update clinical education curriculum, syllabi, objectives, and outlines.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and program requirements in clinical education.
• Coordinate and evaluate clinical sites, including scheduling and site visits.
• Contribute to didactic curriculum development and implementation.
• Initiate contacts with new clinical training sites and prepare affiliation agreements.
• Maintain relationships with existing clinical sites and manage the clinical site database.
• Support accreditation processes and programmatic changes as needed.
• Participate in professional development and university committees as directed.
