Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a Program Manager for the new Physician Assistant Program in New York. The role focuses on building operational infrastructure, policy development, and staff recruitment to support accreditation and inaugural class matriculation in Fall 2028.

You will work closely with the Program Director, lead administrative functions, oversee budgets, and coordinate with key institutional offices to ensure compliant, efficient program operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • Experience in program planning, implementation, management, and evaluation.
  • Experience in educational program management preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in higher education administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and improve operational policies and processes for the PA Program.
  • Coordinate administrative activities to maintain ARC-PA compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of program staff.
  • Partner with the Program Director on faculty recruitment and orientation.
  • Develop and monitor workflows, controls, and procedures for program administration and accreditation.
  • Manage program budgets and expenditures with forecasting and budget alignment.
  • Serve as liaison with Financial Aid, Registrar, HR, Budget and Finance, Procurement, and IT.
  • Analyze operational challenges and implement process improvements and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate program reporting, accreditation documentation, and compliance records.
  • Represent the program on committees and at meetings and external conferences.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing activities and resolving issues.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
