Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University’s Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA seeks a non-tenure line Assistant Professor/PA Program Director to lead the PA program, shape the curriculum, and guide accreditation efforts.

Responsibilities include providing leadership, vision, designing the curriculum, and overseeing reaccreditation; requires NCCPA certification, PA licensure eligibility in PA, and at least three years of clinical and academic leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program is required.
• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• Current NCCPA certification is required.
• Licensed or eligible for PA licensure in Pennsylvania with prescriptive authority.
• Three years of patient care experience as a PA in a clinical setting.
• Three years of academic leadership experience in a university setting.
• Teaching experience in a university setting is required.
• Prior experience with ARC-PA accreditation processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, vision, and knowledge to support the PA Program.
• Oversee curriculum design and the program's strategic plan.
• Oversee reaccreditation efforts for the PA program.
• Collaborate with faculty and university stakeholders to ensure program quality.
