Job description

US Career Partners is pleased to recruit for this distinguished opportunity with a well-established community outpatient medical center. This position offers exceptional clinical support, above-market compensation, and the chance to make a real difference. Prior urgent care experience is required.

  • A Practice Built Around Provider Success. This is not simply a good work environment — it is an exceptional one, built with the provider experience as a central priority. Advanced practice providers here benefit from comprehensive administrative support, with dedicated RNs, caseworkers, and care coordinators managing all follow-up and administrative legwork so that clinicians can focus entirely on patient care. The result is a practice where the day-to-day is genuinely enjoyable and professionally fulfilling.

  • A Beloved Community Center with a Fully Integrated Clinical Ecosystem. This practice is not a hospital system or a large institutional setting — it is a deeply rooted, beloved community medical home where patients and providers alike feel at home. What further distinguishes it is its fully internal, collaborative structure connecting urgent care directly with specialists and primary care providers under one roof. Outside referrals are largely eliminated — consultations and coordinated care happen seamlessly within the organization. This not only makes the experience dramatically more enjoyable for providers, it leads to meaningfully better patient outcomes and continuity of care.

  • Above-Market Compensation — Wherever You Are in Your Career. Whether earlier in your advanced practice career or bringing years of established urgent care experience, every candidate can expect a clear and meaningful upgrade from their current compensation. This organization pays above market as a matter of principle, combined with a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a full range of performance bonuses — ensuring that what is offered here stands apart from what is available elsewhere.

  • High-Impact, Community-Centered Care. This role offers the opportunity to serve a rich and diverse patient population drawn from across the broader community, including vulnerable and underserved populations who depend on accessible, high-quality urgent care during evening and weekend hours. The scope and significance of the work here are substantial.

Position Overview:

Our client is a thriving community outpatient medical center seeking an experienced Urgent Care NP or PA to provide comprehensive, patient-centered acute care on a full-time or per diem basis during night and weekend shifts. The successful candidate will be a confident, self-directed clinician with demonstrated urgent care experience, ready to function as an integral member of a deeply collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.

This position is based in a safe, vibrant, and welcoming suburban community in New Jersey — just a comfortable distance from New York City and a short drive from the beautiful beaches of the Jersey Shore. The area offers residents a high quality of life with all modern conveniences, a warm and close-knit community atmosphere, and the kind of environment where both careers and families genuinely thrive.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting with a broad range of acute and urgent medical conditions
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory work, imaging, and point-of-care testing
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, injuries, and other urgent care presentations
  • Perform procedures including laceration repair, splinting, wound care, and other indicated interventions
  • Triage and manage multiple patients efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment
  • Collaborate within a fully integrated internal care team spanning urgent care, specialists, and primary care services
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date medical documentation in accordance with established standards
  • Adhere to all applicable clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards of practice
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid NP or PA certification and licensure
  • Prior urgent care experience — required
  • Strong clinical acumen across a broad range of acute and urgent presentations
  • Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based, integrated care model
  • Compassionate, patient-first approach to clinical practice
  • Availability for night and weekend shifts on a full-time or per diem basis
Compensation & Benefits:
