Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Calhoun Correctional Institution in Blountstown, FL. The role involves working under physician supervision in a correctional setting to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Available shift is Monday to Friday, 7am–3:30pm. Eligible candidates hold a Florida license and ARNP/PA certification with up-to-date CPR; DEA license or ability to obtain it is required. Background check and NPDB clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Florida license required.
• ARNP/PA certification required.
• DEA license or ability to obtain one.
• CPR certification up to date.
• Criminal background check and NPDB clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and assists in delivering health care and patient care management.
• Performs assessments, diagnoses and medication management.

We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at the Calhoun Correctional Institution located in Blountstown, Florida.

Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Available Shift - M-F 7am - 3:30pm
