Job summary

Purple DPSS is seeking a Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker to help JJ, an 11-year-old with autism, participate in daily activities and community trips. The role involves personal care, supervising near roads, and encouraging play and outings in a safe environment.

Location is Huntingdon, PE29, on-site, part-time with flexible hours. DBS check, right to work and references are required. Salary starts at £15 per hour and there is Disability Confident employer scheme support.

Responsibilities

• Support JJ in community activities to burn energy, socialise and have fun
• Provide personal care including wiping after toilet, dressing/undressing, washing hands and face, reminders to eat and drink, sun cream application
• Supervise closely due to JJ's limited sense of danger
• Follow simple instructions and maintain safety during outings
