Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified Prior Authorization Technician to join our Operations team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will process and finalize PA requests, verify formulary alternatives, and communicate PA decisions to clinicians and pharmacies. The role requires GED/HS Diploma with 1+ year of experience, proficiency in MS Office, and active licensure or certification as a Pharmacy Technician.

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma required, 1+ year of experience.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Must successfully complete one of the national certification exams or obtain state licensure (Pharmacy Technician).

Responsibilities

• Process and finalize Prior Authorization (PA) requests within turnaround times.
• Enter PAs into the system and prioritize requests.
• Coordinate notifications to members, physicians, and pharmacies regarding PA status.
