Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or GED, with at least two years of experience in pharmacy or insurance operations. Strong communication and time management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in pharmacy or health insurance operations required.
• General knowledge of drug names, therapeutic categories preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy online system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinical Review Pharmacist by verifying eligibility and filing requests.
• Log prior authorization requests into pharmacy systems per standards.
• Facilitate follow-up calls to members and providers.
