Job summary

Western University of Health Sciences is seeking an adjunct Clinical Faculty member to support PA education, curriculum development, and hands-on clinical training. The candidate will assist in 2nd year curriculum development, deliver sessions, coach board exam strategies, and supervise OSCE and procedural skills assessments.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
• Possessing a master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach, mentor, and contribute to PA student education and clinical training.
• Assist Principal Faculty in developing 2nd year didactic curriculum based on learning outcomes.
• Facilitate engaging discussions to enhance clinical scenario understanding.
• Discuss board style questions and share strategies for board exams.
• Guide and mentor students through Master’s thesis projects with feedback.
• Grade SOAP notes and provide detailed feedback after rotations.
• Proctor procedural skill assessments (POPs) and evaluate OSCE and technical skills.
• Support student advising and maintain documentation for continuous learning.
