Job summary

West Coast University in California seeks a Campus Director of Clinical Education for the Physician Assistant program. You will lead clinical education strategy and coordinate site affiliations to ensure high-quality student learning experiences.

You will collaborate with program leadership to ensure ARC-PA standards, supervise the clinical phase team, and manage scheduling and affiliations for clinical sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of teaching, research, or clinical experience in PA education or health professions education.
• Ability to develop clinical and didactic curriculum, program evaluation and student assessment.
• Leadership knowledge to cultivate a learner-centered environment and foster excellence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program leadership to achieve a shared vision for the MPA program.
• Develop, evaluate, and maintain clinical sites and preceptors meeting ARC-PA standards.
• Coordinate clinical site development, scheduling, and affiliation agreements with needed support.
• Lead the design and evaluation of an innovative clinical curriculum aligned with ARC-PA, PAEA, and NCCPA requirements.
• Foster relationships with preceptors and provide ongoing support and recognition.

Education

Master’s degree in education or related health- or social-science discipline

ARC-PA accredited PA program graduation

NCCPA certification or eligibility to sit for PANCE/PANRE
