South University seeks a Director of Academic Operations to design, integrate, and sustain academic systems that support curriculum delivery, assessment, and accreditation readiness. You will partner with faculty and leadership to identify workflow needs, own data models, and ensure audit-ready documentation across program locations.

Responsibilities include coordinating communications, maintaining the department intranet, leading interoperability across platforms, and delivering training

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in academic technology design or workflow automation.
• Experience with data modeling and integration troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and leadership in academic settings.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain workflow automations across core academic processes.
• Coordinate meetings and transcribe notes.
• Maintain department SharePoint Intranet.
• Lead system integrations across LMS and exam platforms.
• Develop data models for accreditation evidence.
• Create documentation and training materials.
• Train faculty and staff on academic systems.
• Advise leadership on tooling strategy.
• Coordinate with central IT and vendors.
• Maintain inventory of academic tech assets.
