Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Curriculum and Academic Systems Coordinator to lead operational processes around curriculum actions, catalog management, and credential lifecycle oversight. You will coordinate cross-departmental activities, ensure data alignment across Banner, Degree Works, and Ad Astra, and support accreditation readiness throughout the credential lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of experience in higher education administration, academic affairs, institutional effectiveness, curriculum management, project management, accreditation support, planning and evaluation, or related areas.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and five years of professional experience in higher education administration, cross-functional project coordination, and managing complex processes.
• Experience with Banner, Degree Works, CourseLeaf, Ad Astra, academic catalogs, accreditation processes, or institutional data systems.

Responsibilities

• CURRICULUM PROCESS COORDINATION: Coordinate curriculum proposals from initiation through implementation and manage Curriculum Committee activities.
• COURSELEAF CATALOG MANAGEMENT: Manage the institutional catalog and the CourseLeaf catalog management process and publication schedules.
• ACADEMIC SYSTEMS COORDINATION: Update academic data within Banner, Degree Works, and Ad Astra related to curriculum changes; not the broader system administration.
• CROSS-DEPARTMENTAL SYNCHRONIZATION: Act as central coordinator among departments to keep information synchronized across systems.
• ACADEMIC CREDENTIAL MASTER INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: Maintain the Credential Master Inventory as the official record for credential lifecycle.
• PROGRAMMATIC ACCREDITATION READINESS COORDINATION: Coordinate accreditation readiness activities and maintain documentation.
• COMMUNICATION AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Prepare updates and documentation; promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
