Job summary

Mid-City Electric is seeking a highly motivated P6 Scheduler to guide multiple electrical construction projects in Westerville, OH. You will develop, maintain, and analyze schedules to keep projects on time and within budget, collaborating with project managers, field teams, and estimators.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years using Primavera P6, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to communicate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• A degree in construction management or equivalent experience in electrical service and construction is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience scheduling construction projects using Primavera P6.
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, particularly for electrical scopes of work.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Familiarity with earned value management, change management, and cost controls is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and on a team.
• Highly organized with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, engineers, and estimators to build logic-driven, resource-loaded schedules.
• Perform schedule updates, baseline comparisons, and critical path analyses.
• Identify project risks and potential delays—recommend mitigation strategies to keep things moving.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports, including look-ahead schedules and resource forecasting.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to team members on best practices for scheduling.
