Job summary

The LINE Hotels in Austin is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Busser to join our team. A successful candidate will help maintain a courteous, efficient dining room and support servers by clearing and resetting tables and ensuring a welcoming guest experience.

We value reliable, team-oriented individuals with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Experience in hospitality is preferred and flexibility with shifts is appreciated.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills preferred.
• Collaborative spirit and teamwork across departments encouraged.
• Ethical conduct and a positive attitude expected.
• Attention to detail and problem solving abilities valued.

Responsibilities

• Must be courteous and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
• Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to our standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness.
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service and follow it for every guest.
• Clear, mark, and take ownership of table maintenance and resets.
• Assist coworkers in any task to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers.
• Execute any additional duties requested by management.
• Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel.
• Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.

Responsibilities

1. Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
2. Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
3. Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to our standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
4. Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
5. Clear, mark, and take ownership of table maintenance and wipe and resets tables
6. Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
7. Execute any additional employee duties requested by management
8. Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant
9. Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
10. Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
