Job summary

PMCS Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate Construction Scheduler in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves reviewing baseline schedules, analyzing critical paths, and guiding project teams through scheduling workflows.

The candidate will use P6 Primavera and MS Office to create schedules, perform QA/QC, and prepare regular reports, ensuring data integrity and alignment with LAUSD templates and project needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of full-time scheduling experience for an Owner/GC on educational/public works projects.
• Experience with reading architectural plans and contract specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate with project teams and staff.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Review baseline and identify missing scope, logic, milestones; analyze critical path and cost loading.
• Review monthly schedule updates and document milestone slippage and critical path changes.
• Create activity schedules with P6 to support project management in analyzing schedule issues.
• QA/QC on contractor submittals for conformance with contract scope and scheduling guidelines.
• Ensure standard codes, layouts, and reports maintain data integrity.
• Create Earned Value curves according to LAUSD EVA template.
• Prepare reports and assist scheduling management.
