Job summary

PMCS Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Junior Scheduler to support construction scheduling for educational facilities and public works projects.

You will work under Senior Schedulers to review contractor schedules and prepare regular schedule updates using LAUSD templates. Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management and at least 1 year of scheduling experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time scheduling experience for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management is required.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version) and MS Office Suite is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide schedule review comments for baseline schedules and monthly updates using LAUSD templates.
• Create and populate schedule-related reports in Excel and P6.
• Develop Earned Value curves following LAUSD EVA guidelines.
• Perform QA/QC on contractors' schedule submittals for conformance with contract requirements.
• Analyze schedules for proper use of codes, layouts, and reports to ensure data integrity.
• Update master schedule with as-built dates and input from Facilities teams on forecast dates.
