The UNC Chapel Hill Department of Transportation and Parking is responsible for coordinating all traffic, parking, and transportation services for UNC Chapel Hill’s campus. The department strives to provide a high level of service to students, employees, and visitors who work, live, and visit the University and UNC Health Care System.
Position Summary: The Point to Point Campus Shuttle provided by the Transportation and Parking department is a shuttle service that transports students around campus. This position drives to ensure transportation services are available for students, staff, and faculty of the University community. This position also requires a candidate to have the ability to communicate on a two-way radio.
Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Requires appropriate licenses or certifications to operate assigned types of vehicles or equipment.
Valid NC Driver’s License.
Previous shuttle and dispatch experience; familiarity with UNC campus; NC CDL Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement preferred.
