The Role- Practice excellent customer service standards at all times while welcoming and greeting all players, students, and patrons.
- Assist all guests with court time and proper program/event placement.
- Handle all POS transactions and receipts accurately.
- Assign courts to players for open time, donated courts, private & group lessons using the computerized reservation system, and assist patrons with program registrations and offerings.
- Follow all ITC policies and procedures for court bookings, program registrations, and site access to courts and grounds.
- Assist the Program department with the development and implementation of PACES and Tour programs, including coordinating site visits and school outreach.
- Work with the department to ensure all classes are uploaded to the NTC website promptly, as directed by the Sr. Business Manager.
- Answer general inquiries via phone regarding reservations, prices, and programs.
- Accurately handle monetary transactions during your shift.
- Operate indoor/outdoor court lighting panels and monitor usage.
- Monitor court usage to ensure players adhere to scheduled times.
- Update patron profiles accurately and timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor and Sr. Business Manager.
- Assist with US Open duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Excellent customer service, communication, and phone skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Availability on weekends and evenings.
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced, stressful situations.
- This position is onsite at the NTC.
Hourly Wage: $18 per hour
