Who We Are

We are Tennis! The USTA (United States Tennis Association) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States, from local communities to the professional stage, including the US Open.

Who You Are

  • Excellent customer service, phone manner, and communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Availability on weekends and evenings
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
  • Professional appearance at all times
  • Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced, stressful situations
  • This position is onsite at the NTC

Hourly Wage: $18 per hour

The Role
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting all players, students, and patrons
  • Help guests with court reservations and program/event placements
  • Handle POS transactions and receipts accurately
  • Assign courts to players for open time, donated courts, and private/group lessons using the computerized reservation system; assist patrons with program registrations and offerings
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to court bookings, program registrations, and site access
  • Support the Program department in developing and implementing the PACES and Tour programs, including site visits and school outreach
  • Coordinate with the department to ensure classes are uploaded to the website promptly
  • Answer general inquiries about reservations, prices, and programs via phone
  • Accurately handle monetary transactions during shifts
  • Operate indoor/outdoor court lighting and monitor court usage
  • Ensure players adhere to their scheduled times
  • Update patron profiles accurately and promptly
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor and Sr. Business Manager
  • Participate in US Open duties as assigned
