Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Hawaii with 10+ years in civil/geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and special inspections.
• Must reside in Hawaii with deep understanding of the local market, soil conditions, and construction industry.
• Proven track record of established relationships within the Hawaii engineering/construction community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geotechnical investigations, CMT, and special inspection projects from inception to completion.
• Identify opportunities and expand Twining’s footprint across Oahu and neighboring islands.
• Provide senior-level review of engineering reports meeting HI standards and client specs.
• Provide technical oversight of laboratory testing.
• Lead and develop a local team of inspectors and technicians, fostering excellence and safety.
• Serve as primary contact for developers, contractors, and government agencies.
• Collaborate with internal recruiter and Operation Field Supervisor for staffing.
