Position: Insurance Sales Consultant - Inside Sales

We are seeking candidates with an active Commercial Property & Casualty License in their state of residence and in good standing with any non-resident P&C licenses. The Hartford’s Small Business Inside Sales Team is expanding! The Insurance Sales Consultant will drive new business growth across the Small Business segment, selling property & casualty insurance products directly to small business owners nationwide.

This role is 100% remote, with a preference for candidates in MST, PST, or CST timezones. Hybrid work options are available for those near San Antonio, TX; Scottsdale, AZ; Hartford, CT; New Hartford, NY; Charlotte, NC. Training begins in June 2025, combining self-directed and instructor-led virtual learning.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling inbound calls on warm leads, pre-qualifying applicants, and providing coverage consultations.
• Selling small business insurance products such as BOP, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, Professional Liability, and Bonds.
• Collaborating within a high-performing sales team.
• Managing customer interactions confidently and efficiently.
• Delivering excellent customer service and tailored insurance solutions.
• Partnering with Underwriting on complex risks.

Qualifications:

• Active commercial Property & Casualty license in resident state.
• 2+ years of P&C experience preferred; call center experience valued.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Competitive drive and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Compensation: $46,800 – $70,200 annually, based on experience and performance. Additional bonuses and incentives may apply.
