Job summary

BDO USA, P.A. is seeking a P&C Project Manager, Learning & Development to lead planning through implementation of corporate training initiatives. The role coordinates stakeholders, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies while aligning with firm goals and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in adult learning in a professional services environment, with strong program management and LMS expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Three or more years of experience in learning and supporting adult continuing education in a corporate environment, required.
• Experience managing the work of direct and/or indirect reports, required.
• Experience with program management as well as both e-learning and face-to-face training from concept to application, required.
• Experience at a professional services firm, required, in a corporate environment (accounting, consulting or advisory, etc.), preferred.
• Experience applying adult learning concepts, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning, execution, and delivery of select projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Collaborates with National L&D team members and business stakeholders to establish project goals and support assigned learning initiatives across project lifecycle.
• Develops detailed project plans, allocates resources, monitors accountabilities and adjusts progress for successful completion.
• Leads or supports internal L&D projects (e.g., operating model changes, process enhancements, tool rollouts).
• Manages dependencies across teams and stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution.
• Promotes disciplined project execution and mitigates risks to keep projects on track.
