Job summary

SafeLease is seeking an Account Executive focused on P&C insurance to expand our growing client base in the U.S. Self-storage industry experience is a plus. The role emphasizes building high‑level relationships, selling and renewing policies, and tailoring coverages to client needs.

You will collaborate with underwriters and SafeLease teams to deliver smooth buying experiences, handle inquiries on coverages, premiums, endorsements, and claims, and occasionally travel to industry events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling property and casualty insurance.
• P&C license in good standing.
• Top-tier networker with proven ability to manage a large book of business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and professional presentation.
• Technical knowledge of insurance coverage forms and policies.
• Motivated to help build a newer line of business in a fast-growing startup.
• Experience with non-admitted/surplus lines is a plus.
• Self-storage or commercial real estate experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate connections with self-storage property owners and stakeholders nationwide.
• Quote and secure new and renewal P&C policies.
• Tailor policy coverages and deductibles to client needs.
• Collaborate with underwriters to provide required information promptly.
• Enhance customer experience across SafeLease teams for seamless buying.
• Address inquiries about coverages, premiums, endorsements, or claims.
• Attend industry events with occasional travel as required.
