Oliver Wyman is seeking an actuarial professional to join the P&C Insurance Practice as a consultant. You will develop, validate, and operationalize actuarial models and workflows, collaborating across geographies and teams to deliver AI-enabled solutions in pricing, reserving, and capital modeling.

The role emphasizes transforming client engagements with rigorous data analysis, and close interaction with stakeholders to translate complex concepts into practical insights.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years actuarial experience; pursuing CAS credentials with at least 3 passed exams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and time management.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using AI technologies for modeling and analytics.
• Programming knowledge in Python, R, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Transformative Actuarial Solutions by applying actuarial knowledge to complex insurance challenges.
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to develop actionable insights.
• Execute actuarial analyses using established methodologies and models.
• Support client engagements by gathering requirements and communicating findings clearly.
• Collaborate with actuaries, engineers, data scientists, and other specialists to translate requirements into technical specifications.
