The person will develop dashboards, analyze promotions, customer segmentation, and revenue opportunities, collaborating with IT and operations to ensure data accuracy and timely insights.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Player Analytics & Database Analyst (P&A Analyst) to join our Marketing and Analytics team. This position plays a critical role in supporting data-driven decision making through customer analytics, database marketing, loyalty program management, and business intelligence reporting. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about transforming data into actionable insights that enhance customer engagement, operational performance, and revenue growth.

This position will report directly to the Database Manager and will be responsible for:

• Supporting strategic marketing and loyalty initiatives through data analysis, customer segmentation, and performance measurement.
• Assisting in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of targeted marketing campaigns, including customer selection, offer creation, promotional setup, and campaign execution within the SYNKROS system.
• Maintaining promotional calendars and marketing configurations within SYNKROS to ensure accurate execution of campaigns and offers.
• Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing promotions, gaming operations, food & beverage performance, and other business initiatives, while providing meaningful recommendations to improve results.
• Developing, maintaining, and distributing dashboards, reports, and key performance metrics that support operational and executive decision-making.
• Assisting with building and maintaining customer profiles, segmentation models, and statistical analyses that identify customer behaviors, trends, and opportunities for revenue growth.
• Integrating and analyzing data from gaming systems, loyalty programs, point-of-sale systems, marketing databases, and other internal and external data sources.
• Collaborating with the Database Manager, Information Technology, operational departments, and corporate teams to ensure data accuracy, system functionality, and successful implementation of business initiatives.
• Assisting with database administration functions, including customer data maintenance, point adjustments, self-exclusion updates, address maintenance, and other data integrity activities as assigned.
• Providing strategic insights and recommendations to property and corporate leadership through detailed analysis of business trends, customer performance, and return on investment.
• Serving as project coordinator for database, marketing, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives, ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, data privacy requirements, and company policies regarding data security and customer information.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in database marketing, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with Oracle databases and Linux environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Gaming or hospitality industry experience with previous use of player tracking systems preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).
