Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level Maintenance Technician to support the P-8A Site Activation Team, starting at NAS Jacksonville, Florida, with relocation to Canadian Forces Base Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in military or civilian aircraft maintenance or production.
• Willingness to deploy/travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
• Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble and/or modify aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness.
• Oversee training.
• Work under general direction.
